This is a rare radio made by RCA for Cities Service Oil Company. The
references I've checked only list 2 models produced in 1947 and '48.
This is a 5 tube plastic AM radio. The case is in good condition with
no cracks or chips. There is some minor scratching on the bottom and
a couple short scratches on the sides. The dial cover has been
replaced as the original was badly discolored and distorted. Judging
by the slight warping of the dial cover frame and condition of the
original dial cover plastic, I suspect this radio was stored in a very
hot attic. The electronics have been fully restored and aligned, and
reception is good. A new back cover was made as the original was
missing. A unique radio for your collection.
